2021 has barely entered the building, and I have so many exciting things to share with you including two new types of consultations, new classes, Astrology Niagara’s 2021 schedule, and more!

A Busy January

I’ve been invited as a guest on the Moon Sister Sessions Podcast, so I’ll be recording that this coming week. We’ll be talking about my astrological life as well as some upcoming astrological themes for 2021. I’ll share the link once the podcast has been released a bit later in the month.

On January 16th, I’ll be lecturing for the second time at Astrology Toronto. I’ll be presenting a three-hour lecture via Zoom on Morin’s Chart Synthesis. Tickets are $25 for non-Astrology Toronto members. For those who are as delighted with Morin’s systematic approach to astrology as I was years ago, I will be offering the first of a two-part online course on Morin on Monday evenings 7-9 pm starting February 1st. Offering Two New Astrological Consultations

I’m so pleased to now offer two new consultations: Children’s Charts and Adolescent Astrology.

I’ve been doing these sessions informally for years. After mentoring with Astrologer Alex Trenoweth last year, I decided it was time to formally offer these consultations.

Children’s Charts:

In this one-hour session, we will discuss your child’s temperament, natural abilities and talents, and some areas of challenge. You’ll learn how your child would like to be nurtured and how this could be different from how you naturally nurture them. Trust me – this concept alone can be a revelation. I’ll share your child’s communication style, learning style and how they are best disciplined. You’ll learn where and how they will want to shine in life and how they might handle conflict. We’ll also talk about what part of life they might idealize, where they might take an unconventional view and what part of life they will actively work at transforming. There’s so much to talk about! Adolescent Astrology:

The time between an adolescent’s first Jupiter return (between 11 and 12 years old) and their first Saturn opposition (around age 14) is a critical window in development. So much happens during these formative years. Broken down into two one-hour sessions, these consultations will help you understand, firstly, your temperament as well as your style of parenting, nurturing and discipline and how this may or may not be gel with your teenager. Then, together, with your teenager, we’ll discuss the synastry between your charts (how you are similar, how you are different, how you can learn from each other, and where you need greater empathy and understanding of each other.) We’ll also take a close look at your adolescent’s cycles from age 11 to age 15. We’ll talk about how to best use each of the periods contained within this time frame, and how you can work together to achieve a successful adolescence for your teenager. The session will give you mutual insight and empower you to connect with your adolescent at another level of understanding. Learn more here.

Two Additional Changes:

I am no longer offering Karmic Astrology Consultations; however, I am current pursuing a designation in Medical Astrology, and I hope to start offering medical astrology consultations later in 2021 or early 2022.

Monthly Forecasts

With the advent of social media, there is a lot of opportunity for astrologers to share information. At the same time, that free content takes so much time to develop. This is a growing concern amongst many astrologers and creative folks, and that is why so many of them are having to change the way they do business. One of my goals for 2021 is a re-evaluation of how I provide some of my content. I would appreciate your feedback. How helpful do you find my monthly blog forecasts? Readings are given each week. We spend our time in class working on our own charts. Each class is two hours long. No prerequisite is required. Classes are kept very small for maximum attention to every student.

Up first this Saturday, January 23, 2021 is the fabulous Astrologer from Halifax, Mj Patterson who will be giving a fascinating talk on “Fate versus Free Will in Astrology“. Have you ever noticed that some people seem to sail through life, almost as though they were here on holiday, while other folks seem to end up at the mercy of external circumstances? The birth chart can offer key insights into how fate and free will play out in our lives as well as pointers on how to work the chart to come out whole, even in the face of daunting circumstances.
