A major shift in the way I do business starts now!

I have recently made a significant shift in the way I handle several aspects of my business.

Now you can book your session with my online calendar and pay with your credit card. Woot! This is a bit of an upfront and ongoing investment for me, but it is going to free up a lot of admin hours every week going back and forth with clients in regard to appointment times as well as payments. And more time freed up means I won’t be booking so far in advance as I’ll have more time with you, my awesome clients and students!

Year Ahead (Solar Return) sessions have changed

I have changed the way I do my year ahead sessions. For those who have been coming to me for years to get a “Silver Solar Return,” I will no longer be offering these sessions with all the pages of typed notes and dates. It took me several hours to put that together, and it was becoming unmanageable. Then in September, after I squeezed someone in, spent five hours on their stuff and didn’t get paid (got ghosted instead), I thought – what the heck am I doing here? No astrologer in their right mind works like this. I’ve been working at astrology for nearly 20 years. I have so much information in my head. I don’t need to write a flipping essay for my clients. I can speak my knowledge and experience. (I don’t need to tell you that it was a light bulb moment for this imposter syndrome sufferer/over-preparer straight A student.) So, getting shafted was kind of the best thing to happen to me in a long time. Yes, I’m out the cost of that session, but the lesson was priceless. And like George W. Bush once said: “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice… never get fooled again!” (Yes, I just quoted George Double-ya, and it felt great.)

So, in the place of my Silver Solar Return, I’m now offering three different options based on time for my predictive sessions (1 hour, 1.5 hours or 2 hours) where we talk all about your year ahead. I still give you all the juice on what to expect using my favourite predictive methods along with key dates, but instead of running through pages and pages of minor dates, we now have time to also connect and discuss some bigger picture trends. I switched to this method a few weeks ago, and the response to this new approach has been so great.

If you’ve always gotten the Silver Solar Return session with me, I would recommend you transition to the 1.5 hour or the 2 hour session for maximum predictive methods discussed! The 1 hour session is a great primer but will mainly focus on the solar return and transits as there’s just not enough time to incorporate much beyond that. In the 1.5 hour session we will be able to dive further into some additional methods such as profections, progressed lunar phases, secondary progressions, solar arcs and primary directions, while the 2 hour session will use all of these methods and have you ultra prepared for your year ahead!

I am also introducing two new services:

• Ask me Anything: Do you need some clarity around your natal chart? Are you overwhelmed and need some guidance on how best to use your current cycles? Are you a student who wants some additional instruction around an astrological concept or technique? Then this session is for you! Literally ask me anything… astrology-related of course! I will try to have an opening in my schedule every week for at least one of these sessions.

• The Quarterly Club: Do you need more detailed and ongoing guidance throughout the year? Then sign up for my Quarterly Club. We’ll have four one-hour sessions together over the course of the year where we plan your next three months, focusing on important dates. Each session, we’ll look at the opportunities and hurdles the upcoming three months will bring. The four sessions are booked and paid for upfront.

Not much good has come out of this Mars retrograde for me (more on that in another post), but *this* has definitely been amazing. I’ve reviewed how I am spending my energy particularly relating to Gemini-related territory (communicating, learning, teaching, handling paperwork, scheduling, etc.) and boy have I been floundering. I actually did a little happy dance today when my web developer explained how my new booking system would trigger my Zoom meeting which would automatically go into my calendar which would automatically sync to my phone. I sound like such a Luddite, but look, I’ve got an angular, fixed T-square involving Saturn, Uranus and Mars, so I get stuck in my analogue ways of doing things until a crisis situation develops, and then I look up from my narrow focus, put down the fountain pen and log onto technology.

Maybe one day I’ll even give up my white board when teaching. GASP. I can’t imagine the thought, but who knows. I’m getting wild and crazy with this technology stuff.
