Adolescent Astrology Consultation

For adolescents 11 – 15 years

Over the years, I’ve had numerous clients come to me for guidance with their adolescents.

• “It’s like he’s a different person now.”
• “I don’t know how to communicate with her anymore.”
• “I don’t understand what is going on in his head.”

I hear struggling parents say things like this all the time. While I certainly won’t be able to read your adolescent’s mind, I can help you and your adolescent navigate this crucial time using astrology.

Last year, I decided to formalize part of my education in this area, and I studied under Astrologer Alex Trenoweth, author of Growing Pains: Astrology in Adolescence. After years of informally coaching parents and adolescents, I feel well-equipped to finally formalize my services in this area.

The time between an adolescent’s first Jupiter return (between 11 and 12 years old) and their first Saturn opposition (around age 14) is a critical window in development. Think back to when you were a teenager of this age and some of the things you experienced that have made you who you are today.

Because of the complexity of this time and the relationship between you and your adolescent, two sessions are required:

• In my first one-hour session with you, we’ll identify your areas of concern and expected outcomes of our work together. We’ll take a look at your chart. We’ll discuss your parenting style and how you handle discipline. We’ll look at how you nurture others and how you like to be nurtured yourself. This might be different from your adolescent’s nurturing style and this alone could be a revelation for you.
• In our second one-hour session together, your adolescent will join us. The three (or four of us if both parents would like to be present) will discuss the synastry between your charts (how you are similar, how you are different, how you can learn from each other, and where you need greater empathy and understanding of each other.) We’ll discuss learning styles and discipline styles. Then, we’ll take a close look at your adolescent’s cycles from age 11 to age 15. We’ll talk about how to best use each of the periods contained within this time frame, and how you can work together to achieve a successful adolescence for your teenager.

The session will give you mutual insight and empower you to connect with your adolescent at another level of understanding.
